Engraving and laser engraving
Laser engraving changes the material or removes its surface coating to create a logo, name or number without printing ink. It works well for suitable metal pens, insulated drinkware, wood and other gift materials. Mechanical engraving uses a cutting tool and requires a separate assessment.

When is this method suitable?
The final colour comes from the substrate and coating, rather than a chosen Pantone ink. Wood grain and coating variation can affect contrast. Cylindrical products may need a rotary fixture. Supply personalised names and numbers in a checked list. The calculator covers laser engraving; mechanical or unusually detailed work requires a quotation.
Artwork and production preparation
Send the original artwork, product link or model, final dimensions and placement. For vector logos, use PDF, AI, EPS or SVG with fonts converted to outlines. Photographs need sufficient resolution at the final size. We check fine details and colour reproduction and agree any file corrections before starting.

Tell us how the product will be used. Include the quantity, artwork, dimensions, placement, deadline and delivery address. We assess the material and method, prepare a quotation and agree the artwork before production. Arrange a sample if precise colour or durability is essential.
