Heat transfer printing on textiles
Transfer printing creates the design on a carrier and applies it to fabric with a heat press. Different methods include screen-printed transfers, cut heat-transfer film and DTF. The right choice depends on artwork, fabric, quantity and the desired feel.
What should you check before ordering?
Heat transfer is different from direct printing on paper bags or debossing. Fabric must tolerate the necessary temperature and pressure. Seams, coatings and dye migration from polyester can affect results. The calculator here covers screen-printed name and number transfers; other transfer types and pressing supplied transfers require a separate quote.
