RPET and bamboo – what it means
The canopy is 190T RPET pongee, a fabric woven from yarn made from recycled PET bottles. The shaft, tips and handle are bamboo. Construction and use
The umbrella opens and closes by hand, the ribs are fibreglass and the manufacturer calls the model windproof – fibreglass flexes in gusts, but no umbrella is storm-proof. According to the manufacturer the canopy measures 112 cm across, the length is 86 cm and it weighs 550 g.
