Circular printing and laser engraving
Technology and applications
Cylindrical bottles, flasks and cups can receive single-colour screen printing, full-colour UV printing or permanent laser engraving. Screen printing suits clear logos and larger runs; UV supports images and gradients; laser creates an uncoloured mark whose contrast depends on the material. The marking area is not automatically a seamless 360° surface: diameter, taper, handles and fixtures determine coverage.

Techniques and artwork limits
The figures below come from the supplier’s technical guide. They are not universal limits for every product. Suitability, marking area, colours and care must be confirmed for the selected product and artwork before ordering.
Circular screen printing
- Minimum letter height (+/−): 1.5 / 2.2 mm
- Minimum line width (+/−): 0.3 / 0.4 mm
- Colours / special condition: 1 colour

Circular laser engraving
- Minimum letter height (+/−): 1.2 / 1.5 mm
- Minimum line width (+/−): 0.13 / 0.3 mm
- Colours / special condition: No ink; material-dependent contrast

Circular UV printing
- Minimum letter height (+/−): 1.5 / 1.7 mm
- Minimum line width (+/−): 0.3 / 0.4 mm
- Colours / special condition: CMYK, photographs

How do I choose a marking method?
Send the logo as AI, SVG, EPS or vector PDF. For photographs use at least 300 dpi at final print size only where the technique supports images. Lettering must remain legible at actual size; negative detail means an unprinted line or letter within a printed area.
Care: for textiles prefer washing inside out at up to 30°C, avoid bleach, tumble drying and ironing directly on the marking, unless the product requires stricter care. For drinkware prefer hand washing; dishwasher suitability needs confirmation for the item and decoration.
For a suitable solution, send the product code, quantity, logo, desired marking size and deadline. Price depends on the product, area, colours, setup and quantity. Special finishes require a product-specific check and, where necessary, a sample; the picture illustrates the technique rather than guaranteeing compatibility with every item.
