Fired ceramic decoration
Technology and applications
A ceramic decal is fixed by firing at high temperature. It creates durable decoration for mugs, bowls and suitable food containers. It suits intensive use but requires materials that tolerate firing. Colours can change in the kiln; Pantone comparisons are approximate. The guide specifies up to three colours rather than photographic printing. Washing resistance must be confirmed for the actual vessel and decoration.

Techniques and artwork limits
The figures below come from the supplier’s technical guide. They are not universal limits for every product. Suitability, marking area, colours and care must be confirmed for the selected product and artwork before ordering.
Fired decoration
- Minimum letter height (+/−): 1.5 / 1.7 mm
- Minimum line width (+/−): 0.3 / 0.4 mm
- Colours / special condition: Up to 3 colours

How do I choose a marking method?
Send the logo as AI, SVG, EPS or vector PDF. For photographs use at least 300 dpi at final print size only where the technique supports images. Lettering must remain legible at actual size; negative detail means an unprinted line or letter within a printed area.
Care: for textiles prefer washing inside out at up to 30°C, avoid bleach, tumble drying and ironing directly on the marking, unless the product requires stricter care. For drinkware prefer hand washing; dishwasher suitability needs confirmation for the item and decoration.
For a suitable solution, send the product code, quantity, logo, desired marking size and deadline. Price depends on the product, area, colours, setup and quantity. Special finishes require a product-specific check and, where necessary, a sample; the picture illustrates the technique rather than guaranteeing compatibility with every item.
