This minimalist recycled PET bottle suits people who drink a lot of water during the day: at the gym, on long walks or at the desk. A day with Atik
You fill it at the office in the morning, it is half empty by lunch and the last of the litre goes at the evening workout. The carry loop makes it easy to grab even with your hands full, and the transparent or coloured versions show at a glance how much water is left. The bottle is for cold drinks only and should be washed by hand.
Material and construction
The body is made of RCS-certified recycled PET (rPET), with a polypropylene lid; recycled content is 84% of the total item weight. RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) means the recycled content is independently verified throughout the supply chain. Recycled plastic is still plastic – the environmental benefit comes from long-term reuse. The bottle has a single wall: it is light, but it does not keep drinks hot or cold, so it is best for water and other cold drinks. The lid is leak-proof, so the bottle can go straight into a bag. A carry loop makes it easy to take along. According to the manufacturer the product is BPA free. For every Avira Impact product sold, the manufacturer donates 2% of proceeds to Water.org. It is supplied in FSC®-certified kraft packaging that can later be reused as a phone holder, pencil pot or flower pot.
