Monday morning, coffee on the desk and the first email already waiting. The mouse glides over your logo dozens of times a day – and nobody would guess that part of the mat was once a car tyre. The Brite-Mat® mouse mat with tyre material is a branded gift with a story to tell: according to the manufacturer it is made from 99.5% recycled materials.
A day at the desk
At 24 × 19 cm and only 1.9 mm thick, the mat doesn't crowd the desk or get in the way of the keyboard. According to the manufacturer it works with both standard ball and optical mice. The laminated top resists stains, so a coffee drip wipes off and the print stays clean.
Material and construction
The manufacturer (PF Concept) describes the mat as made from 99.5% recycled materials, including 40% recycled tyre material plus recycled plastics and paper; the paper surface carries the FSC® Mix label. The product sheet's material table lists a recycled-plastic pad (90 g) and an FSC® paper top (2 g) and gives the recycled share as 98% – the difference comes from how it is calculated, and both figures are the manufacturer's. The mats are made in the United Kingdom, with a stated cradle-to-gate footprint of 0.17 kg CO₂e. At end of life the laminated paper can be separated from the base – check your local recycling rules.
Adding your logo
The print covers the whole top surface, 240 × 190 mm: full colour (up to 4 colours, any file type) or one colour (vector files only). There is room for your logo and a line about the recycled material. The final artwork is confirmed on a proof before production, and our designer can help.
