Monday morning in the meeting room: everyone has a clear glass mug in which the layers of a cappuccino are clearly visible, with the company logo on the bamboo lid. TIRAL is a 250 ml double-wall borosilicate mug with a handle and bamboo lid – a small detail that makes the coffee break more presentable.
A meeting day with TIRAL
250 ml is an ideal size for cappuccino, latte or tea. The handle keeps the mug comfortable even with a very hot drink, and the bamboo lid holds in warmth and offers the largest logo area (up to 80 × 80 mm). A smaller logo of up to 45 × 35 mm fits on the glass side.
Material and construction
The mug is made from high borosilicate glass, which copes well with temperature changes and is lighter than ordinary glass. The air gap between the two walls keeps the drink warm for longer and the outer wall cooler, so the mug is comfortable to hold – and it also has a handle. It is not a vacuum flask, though: the double glass wall slows cooling but will not keep a drink hot for hours. The lid is bamboo; as a natural material, bamboo can vary slightly in shade and size from piece to piece, which can also affect the final decoration.
According to the manufacturer the mug is dishwasher and microwave safe; we recommend removing the bamboo lid before microwaving and washing it by hand so it stays in good shape.

No. The double wall slows cooling and keeps the outside cooler, but it is not vacuum insulated.
