It is half past six, the site is still dark, and a 1.5-litre flask stands on the bonnet of the crew van. A day with the 1.5-litre flask
In the morning the flask is filled with hot coffee or tea, picked up by the carry handle on its bamboo lid and put in the car. The manufacturer describes it as leak-free, so it can travel in a bag or on the back seat. By lunchtime the coffee is still warm and there are several cups left. Bear in mind that a full flask weighs about two kilograms (544 g empty) – this is a flask for a team, not for one person.
Material and construction
The body is a double-walled stainless steel vacuum flask with a bamboo lid. Bamboo is a natural material, so lid shade and size may vary slightly, which can also affect branding on the lid. The manufacturer does not publish a heat-retention time in hours on its product page; real-world results depend on the starting temperature, how full the flask is and how often it is opened. The manufacturer lists it as dishwasher safe, but the bamboo lid keeps its looks longer when washed by hand.

How long does HELSINKI EXTRA keep drinks hot?
The manufacturer does not publish a figure in hours. Double-wall vacuum insulation keeps drinks warm for several hours; the fuller the flask and the less often it is opened, the longer it lasts. Pre-heating with hot water helps.
Can the flask travel lying down in a car?
The manufacturer describes it as leak-free. Close the lid firmly before transport and keep the seal clean.
How big can the logo be?
Up to 320 × 170 mm with 360° laser engraving, 40 × 80 mm on the front and back, 35 × 35 mm on the lid top and up to 230 × 140 mm with round screen printing (1 colour).
What is the minimum order and lead time?
The minimum order is 10 pcs. Branded orders are typically ready in about two weeks after proof approval, depending on stock; we confirm the date in your quote, including delivery to the UK or elsewhere outside the EU.
Will the engraving survive the dishwasher?
Laser engraving is burned into the steel and does not wash off. For printed logos and the bamboo lid we recommend hand washing for a longer life.
