Glass, cork and silicone – what each part does
The cup is glass, so it does not take on coffee or tea flavours and odours. The cork sleeve protects your hand from heat and gives a secure grip; cork is natural, so texture varies slightly. The silicone lid has a drinking opening. Capacity 350 ml – right for a cappuccino or flat white. Size ⌀ 9.7 × 12.3 cm, weight 367 g; manufacturer marking FOOD-SAFE.
Use and honest limitations
This is a single-wall glass, not a travel mug: the cork protects your hand but the drink cools like in a normal cup. The manufacturer does not declare the lid leakproof – use it in hand or on the desk, not in a bag. Glass is durable but can break if dropped. For real heat retention see branded travel mugs.
Branded glass cup options
Two methods: laser engraving on the cork sleeve (front and/or back, up to 4 × 2 cm) – a natural, darker burn tone that is extremely wear-resistant; or a ceramic decal on the glass (front and/or back, up to 5 × 2 cm, up to 7 colours, Pantone). The manufacturer recommends hand washing decal-printed cups. Final size and position are approved on a proof before production.
