Kushi webcam blocker with logo – sliding cover for laptop cameras

Kushi is a tiny sliding cover for a laptop webcam: slide it shut when the camera isn't needed and open when a video call starts. A very low-cost branded giveaway for large quantities – conferences, training sessions and IT security campaigns.

Material and use

According to the manufacturer's (PF Concept) product sheet the cover is 95% ABS plastic and 5% wheat straw, measures 4.1 × 1.5 × 0.2 cm and weighs 0.81 g. It attaches with an adhesive: align it over the camera and press firmly for a few seconds. The manufacturer says it fits most laptops with a camera and does not stop the lid from closing; for models with very thin screen bezels we recommend testing a sample before a large order. The cover also protects the camera lens from scratches.

Adding your logo

The logo goes on the slider's concave panel: pad printing up to 15 × 5 mm (1 colour, vector file) or full-colour doming (epoxy coating) up to 20 × 7 mm. Given the small surface, a short logo or symbol works best. Final size is shown on a proof before production, and our designer can help. Will it fit my laptop?

The manufacturer says it fits most laptops with a camera. For models with very thin bezels or sensors next to the camera we recommend testing a sample.

Does it stop the laptop from closing?

According to the manufacturer, no – the cover is only 2 mm thick. With a very small gap between screen and keyboard it is still worth testing.

How much wheat straw does it contain?

According to the product sheet 5%; the rest (95%) is ABS plastic. The straw reduces the amount of virgin plastic, but the product is not biodegradable.

How big can the logo be?

Up to 15 × 5 mm by pad printing (1 colour) or up to 20 × 7 mm with full-colour doming.
