Wood, metal and polyester: how Kyle is built
The canopy is polyester, the ribs are metal, and both the shaft and the handle are wood. Open, the canopy measures Ø 106 cm; closed, the umbrella is 88 cm long and weighs 397 g, so this is a full-size 23" umbrella, not a folding one that fits in a bag. The manufacturer does not classify it as windproof. Natural wood means small differences in tone and grain between pieces. According to the manufacturer, the producing factory is BSCI-audited (see amfori BSCI).
Auto open in everyday use
A button at the handle opens the canopy automatically; closing is manual. Handy when your other hand is holding a bag or a car door. Let the umbrella dry open after use to keep fabric and frame in good shape.
Your logo: print methods and maximum print areas
Your logo can go on panels 1, 3, 5 and 7 – up to four positions around the canopy. Per the manufacturer:
- Screen print – up to 2 colours, max 270 × 180 mm per panel
- Transfer print – 1 colour, max 300 × 215 mm
- DTF digital transfer – full colour, max 300 × 215 mm (good for gradients and photos)
- Sublimation – full colour, max 300 × 215 mm; mainly suitable for the white canopy
