Mepal Ellipse is a 500 ml insulated stainless steel bottle from the Dutch homeware brand, made for daily commuting and travel. Its oval cross-section sits comfortably in the hand and in a bag.

Insulation and use
According to the manufacturer the bottle keeps drinks hot for up to 12 hours and cold for up to 24 hours. Actual times depend on starting temperature, fill level and how often the cap is opened. The cap is leakproof and the manufacturer says the bottle also suits carbonated drinks. Size: 23.8 cm tall, Ø 7 cm.
Material and care
Materials are stainless steel, PP plastic and silicone; the manufacturer states it is BPA-free. The product description calls it dishwasher safe, but the technical data says no – to protect the finish and branding we recommend hand washing. Not microwave safe. In the EU, food-contact materials are governed by Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004.

The manufacturer’s default method is laser engraving (front up to 25 × 100 mm, one tone light grey/silver). We also offer pad printing on the front at 30 × 70 mm, 360° engraving and digital wrap printing up to 220 × 130 mm. Final size and position are confirmed on a proof.
