At the end of a training day, the trainer hands out the slides, worksheets and a video guide – all on one small stick with the company logo on the cover. A week later the same stick hangs on someone's keys or sits in a laptop bag, and every time it is used it brings the training back to mind. Rotate-basic 16GB is the classic swivel USB stick with logo for exactly that job.
A day with Rotate-basic
The swivel aluminium cover opens the USB plug in one move and protects it from dirt in a pocket or bag. 16GB holds presentations, PDF catalogues, photos and shorter videos. According to the manufacturer it is USB 2.0 (write 2.92 MB/s, read 9.76 MB/s) and works with Windows and macOS without extra software – handy at a trade show, meeting or workshop where files need to be shared quickly.
Material and build
The cover is aluminium and the body plastic. The manufacturer's product sheet lists the body as recycled ABS, about 34% of the product's weight – the rest is aluminium and electronics, so this is not a fully recycled product. Size 5.8 × 1.9 × 1.0 cm, weight 8 g (7.7 g on the product sheet). Each drive comes in a gift box with instructions; for unprinted orders the boxes are packed separately.
Adding your logo
According to the manufacturer, the cover takes pad printing up to 25 × 12 mm (up to 4 colours), screen printing up to 23 × 12 mm (1 colour) or laser engraving up to 23 × 12 mm with a light grey/silver result. For a full-colour logo there is a 3D dome sticker (doming) up to 41 × 16 mm. Final size and placement are confirmed on a proof before production, and our designer can help.
