Troup is a compact 12.5 cm charging cable with a USB plug, a USB-C plug and two Micro USB tips. It suits office staff, sales teams, students and event visitors who charge phones or earbuds from a laptop or a wall adapter.

The round logo area sits in the middle of the body, so your brand is seen every time the cable comes out of a bag or drawer.

Connectors and use

The manufacturer (PF Concept) describes Troup as a cable with four connectors: a USB adapter, two Micro USB adapters and a Type-C adapter. Output is up to 2 A. On data, the manufacturer's information is contradictory – the description calls it a data and charging cable, while the specification table does not list data transfer – so we recommend Troup mainly for charging. It does not support quick charge ("Quick charge: No"). The body has a hole for attaching the cable to a key ring or bag strap.

Material and durability

The product page lists ABS plastic; the material table on the manufacturer's product sheet shows a PVC USB-port casing (39%), an ABS body and a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) cable. Weight is 17 g (15.3 g on the sheet). The manufacturer advises keeping it cool and dry and the connectors free of dust. No certificates are listed on the manufacturer's product sheet.

Print and logo

The logo goes on the round area below the hole, up to 21 mm in diameter: pad printing in up to 4 colours, a full-colour 3D dome sticker (doming) or digital printing (1 colour).
