The body is made of RCS-certified recycled stainless steel, with a polypropylene lid; recycled content is 75% of the total item weight. RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) means the recycled content is independently verified throughout the supply chain (certified by Control Union, CU1162221). It does not mean the product is 100% recycled – the percentage tells you exactly how much is. According to the manufacturer, the double-wall vacuum construction keeps drinks cold for up to 15 hours and warm for up to 6 hours. Actual times depend on the starting temperature, how full the bottle is and how often it is opened. The lid is leak-proof, so the bottle can go straight into a bag. The manufacturer lists the product as food safe. It is supplied in FSC®-certified kraft packaging. Wash by hand only – the bottle is not dishwasher or microwave safe.
