Products with Your Logo: Choose the Best Gifts for Your Brand
When choosing a product with your logo, first ask when and why the recipient will use it. Visibility depends on the item becoming part of everyday life. A good order combines a suitable product, readable artwork and checked production; the lowest unit price alone does not establish campaign value.

Start with the recipient and occasion
Define the audience, handover moment and desired next step. Exhibition visitors need something easy to carry, seminar participants may appreciate writing tools, and thanking a long-term partner may call for a more personal choice. Check the recipient organisation’s gift policy before selecting a higher-value item. An employee gift and a promotional item given to a client also require separate tax consideration.
Compare candidates using four questions
Will the recipient have a clear use for it? Does its quality match your brand promise? Is the logo readable at actual size? Can the complete order arrive in time? Obtain an answer for each candidate before ordering. If the function duplicates gifts people already have, or the required variant is unavailable, reconsider the choice. A larger quantity does not save money when the surplus remains in storage.
Five product ideas and what to check
These products cover different situations. Confirm price, availability and branding options for the exact quantity and variant. None is automatically the best choice for every recipient.
- Skribo notebook and pen set — for seminars or a work-related welcome. Check the A5 notebook’s writing comfort and the notebook and pen branding areas separately.
- SPOT 500 ml bottle — for carrying drinking water. A single-wall bottle must not be described as a thermos; request cleaning instructions and test the lid.
- LOJA cotton bag — for exhibition materials or shopping. Assess handle comfort, seams and artwork size with the bag filled.
- Parker Urban ballpoint pen — for a more personal partner gift. Compare writing feel and balance, and approve the logo together with the gift-box presentation.
- Iqoniq Bryce T-shirt — for team events or a campaign intended to be worn. Arrange fitting samples and check decoration after the agreed care process.
Match decoration to the actual material
On textiles, compare screen printing, DTF, DTG or embroidery according to fabric, artwork and quantity. Pad printing or UV printing may suit smaller hard-surface items; engraving may suit metal and certain other surfaces. The engraving colour depends on the material and cannot always reproduce a coloured brand mark. Colour references help align expectations, but different surfaces do not automatically produce identical colours. Check contrast, the smallest lettering, curved areas and care requirements.
Budget for the complete order
Include products, every branding position, setup, any sample, assembly, packaging, delivery and applicable taxes. Request two justified quantity options and compare the total spend with the number likely to be used. If a set needs a card, include its design and insertion. Work backwards from the handover date: transport, production, sample review and artwork approval each need time. Confirm the schedule rather than relying on a generic delivery estimate.
Use samples and written approval
A digital mock-up helps assess position and dimensions; a physical sample reveals feel and usability. A decorated sample demonstrates the selected surface and process together. Supply a vector logo where possible, dimensions in centimetres and colour references. For photographic artwork, agree the required resolution at print size. Confirm product code, colour, quantity, all branding positions, packaging, address, total price and delivery date. Establish sample costs and what happens if the chosen variant becomes unavailable.
Prefer documented properties and measure use
A material name alone does not establish lower environmental impact. Ask for evidence supporting claims, the recycled-content percentage and care information for the selected model. Durability, replaceable refills and avoiding unnecessary packaging can be practical criteria. After the campaign, record actual handovers, request feedback and track the agreed next action. The number of items distributed is not evidence of increased sales.
Tax planning for buyers in Estonia
Estonia’s €21 promotional-gift income-tax threshold does not automatically exempt VAT or employee gifts. Sets are assessed together; confirm treatment with your accountant.

Frequently asked questions
Can a small quantity be branded?
The minimum depends on the product and process. Request a quote for your quantity; carton size does not necessarily equal the order minimum.
Is the largest logo the best option?
Not necessarily. Appropriate size, contrast and the wearer’s or user’s preferences can matter more than the maximum decoration area.
Does a sample guarantee identical results throughout a batch?
A sample helps establish expectations. Agree acceptable differences in material, colour and placement separately.
