A day with the Transit Fliptop
Out the door at seven, in the office by eight, a client visit in the afternoon – 470 ml of coffee or water stays within reach. The manufacturer rates it at 4 hours hot and 6 hours cold, so it is made for the working day on the move rather than an all-day hike. Silicone on the lid tab and footpad keeps it quiet when you open it or set it down, and it fits most car cupholders. At the end of the day it can go in the dishwasher.
Materials and build
The double-wall body is recycled stainless steel with vacuum insulation. According to Stanley, the spun-steel construction makes it about 33% lighter than standard stainless steel – it weighs 350 g empty. The lid opens and closes with one hand and is leakproof. Colours: cream, grey, black, light pink and mid blue.
Adding your logo
The most durable option is laser engraving: on the back up to 20 × 120 mm or 360° around the tumbler up to 55 × 120 mm (light grey/silver). For colour logos there is pad printing up to 30 × 70 mm in up to 4 colours, round screen printing up to 90 × 143 mm in up to 3 colours, or full-colour 360° digital print up to 90 × 130 mm. Position and size are confirmed on a proof before production.
