Augmented reality as a corporate-gift concept
Augmented reality, or AR, combines a device's camera view with a digital layer. A printed surface or physical gift may therefore form part of an experience in which the user sees additional information or 2D or 3D content on screen. The Google ARCore fundamentals explain the underlying concept.
For general background, see the Wikipedia overview of augmented reality; the existing brand background page adds context for brand experiences. Earlier category materials also linked to an AR technology example and a cube example; these are background examples and do not confirm current product availability.
How activated print may work
One possible approach is recognition of a registered 2D image, but the trigger, need for an app or web experience, and device support depend on the selected technology. The W3C WebXR specification describes a technical framework for browser-based XR. The use case, permissions, supported devices and management of digital content must be confirmed before implementation.
What to include in a project enquiry
Describe the objective, audience, idea for the physical carrier, desired digital content, languages, expected devices and required deadline. Logo.ee can then help determine whether the project needs a separate technical or design solution.
No products are currently linked to this category. This does not demonstrate the availability or AR capability of any particular item; suitability, implementation and quotation are confirmed separately. To discuss a project, contact Logo.ee.
What does augmented reality mean for a corporate gift?
