Custom made gifts and products

A custom-made promotional product is manufactured or adapted to a brand-specific brief. Depending on feasibility, the shape, dimensions, material, colour, components, packaging and branding position may all be specified.

Include the product idea or reference, intended use, audience, quantity, budget, delivery date, dimensions, preferred materials and colours, plus the logo files and relevant brand guidelines. A complete brief reduces avoidable revisions.

The minimum quantity varies with the product, material, production process, tooling and factory. For a small run, adapting an existing product may be more practical than commissioning a fully bespoke manufacture.

Cost can include product engineering, materials, sampling, moulds or tooling, production setup, branding, packaging, quantity, inspection and freight. A reliable quotation follows agreement on the technical specification.

Often yes: the approval step may be a digital visual, a pre-production sample or a functional prototype. Availability, cost and timing depend on the project, and the agreed sample should be approved before the full run.

Options may include the shape, size, Pantone colour, material, fittings, labels, packaging and logo treatment. Not every combination is technically or commercially workable at every order quantity.

Lead time covers design checks, sampling, approval, manufacturing and transport. There is no single standard duration, so share the fixed event or delivery date at the start of the enquiry.

Vector artwork such as PDF, AI or EPS is normally preferred, together with colour references and brand rules. The chosen process determines the final file requirements, and a layout proof should be approved before production.
